Marvelette vs. The Rubber City Madman
This was a first project as a group and a 48hr. Film Challenge for the Akron Film Festival. We had to do a film in the genre of melodrama with the line of dialog "and that's why they call it the rubber city", and use chop sticks as a prop used for something other than eating.

We had such a great time with the first 48 hr. challenge, we decided to have our own. We drew the genre of horror/musical, the prop was a stuffed animal, and the line of dialog was "you did say you were a cheerleader.
Serial Diner
This was a 48 hr. film challenge for the pie fight film festival. We had to work with the genre of mystery comedy, our prop was a vacuum cleaner and a stack of gallon jugs, we also had to have the symbol of pie in there somewhere. The line of dialog was "Maybe if you hummed a few bars."
Why mess with a good thing. We decided to continue doing the 48 hr. challenge on our own, this time the genre was comedy heist, the prop was a microscope.

Since we had the know how and a place to show it we worked together on a new commercial.
This was made for the Akron Film Festival's 48 hr. film challenge. We had to use the prop of a hot pocket, the line of dialog was "we found this in the erie canal" and our genre was film noir.
We got the opportunity to advertise on a local television station so we put this commercial together.

The Akron Film Festival always trying something new had a contest called movie mash-up. This is where they give two movies and you put them together as one trying to keep some of the integrity of the individual films.
Joseph Christianson - Akron's Toy Man
Akron Film Festival gave us a chance to compete in the New History Of Akron mockumentary contest. The things we had to explain was why there is a blimp hovering over Akron and why when you dig in the ground sometimes you find marbles.
This is a practice run for us for the next 48 hr. Project that might come up.
